How it works
Meet Evoca’s trusty receiver that works with a standard TV antenna and your internet connection. It uses an innovative blend of broadband and broadcast to search and adjust for optimal bandwidth. That means, if you’re watching TV, you won’t have to compete for bandwidth with other people in your house playing games, videoconferencing, or streaming video. You’ll still get the best picture with less buffering or glitchy stuff, the way TV should be. Imagine that.
Getting started is easy
1.
Plug our receiver into your antenna
2.

Most Asked Questions
The ATSC 3.0 standard, branded as “NextGen TV,” is the first major upgrade in broadcast TV since the transition to digital broadcasting (DTV) in 2009. NextGen TV is being rolled out market-by-market across the U.S. by both traditional broadcasters and new broadcasters like Evoca TV. Click here to read our blog post about 3.0.
NextGen TV is based on an Internet Protocol (IP), enabling advanced features with an over-the-air (OTA) antenna. NextGen TV signals are more robust and transmit over greater distances and deeper into buildings, resulting in a higher-quality picture, including 4K TV, and better sound. NextGen signals are currently available in Denver, but not in Colorado Springs. We’re working diligently to launch our own ATSC 3.0 broadcasts in both markets, thus reducing bandwidth constraints on many popular programs, among other great benefits.
Evoca is a new and innovative way to watch tv. Our NextGen technology brings consumers the best of broadcast and broadband in crystal clear picture quality at a fraction of the cost. For the best Evoca experience, we recommend an antenna along with our Scout receiver and Internet connection.
